How Obtained : Surrendered to us to find her a home as she had been in that family a year and the teenage children were not looking after her.
Character : Ruby Ruby Ruby..... Where can we start. This girl is quirky, friendly, submissive, puppyish despite her age, big and tough and such a character. Maybe she is a little nuts too but she is special and just so happy to be around. She was nervous when she came to us first but realised that she was safe and came quickly out of her shell and grow into the character that she is now. We think that perhaps she never played before and she counts all the dogs here as her big family and siblings and plays so much with them. She is very happy to be around them all so we think that she will do well in a multi-dog home where none of them treat her too seriously. The ones here just say to themselves - Oh it's only Ruby being nuts again hahahaha and she gets away with so much from them because of her character. She is a "big voiced" girl with lots of tough noise when playing but she is so harmless. She won't eat out of a bowl though no matter how much we try her with it and will probbly need to be fed separately to ensure that she gets enough. Thankfully she has put on a good bit of weight since coming here at 13.5kg
NB :: Being a greyhound/sighthound means potentially could go into hunting mode if sees small animals running. We are now putting this warning with all of our sighthounds and does not mean that this particular one is this way - just a warning to introduce carefully and be watchful.
