Character : Lola is a lovable rogue, full of puppy enthusiasm and mischief. Being a lurcher, she plays different than the greys do but so far they have tolerated her exuberance. Her daddy was a full greyhound and mothe was a collie-german shepherd cross and so she has the energy, brains and agility of all 3 breeds. She is super wonderful with humans and is very gently and would willingly be hugged and rubbed by them all the time. She was passing our cat test but not fully so we thought that perhaps she can be trainable with time and the right kind of introductions and monitoring. Due to this she had an offer of a foster home with cats, a dog and 2 small children (2 and 4years old), and if it worked out, a permanent home. Sadly although she was fabulous with the children, she tried to dominate the resident dog, an 11 year old softie and then she picked up one of the cats but let go as soon as she was told. This of course means that we have to find her a more suitable home. Lola will need a home that will be able to help her through her teenage years and energy. An active family would be perfect for her, preferably without cats and high fencing or walls are a must as she can easily jump over our 2m gates when she wants to.
How Obtained : Surrendered to us via our vets by the owner because she kept escaping while they were at work.
